For the listed CLHA/CRKB/CXXB/DBKA/DDYA A3 8V engines, this EA288 diesel package follows the 03N115562B oil-filter and N90813202 metal drain-plug references. The major kit adds fuel filtration selected by the housing water-sensor configuration. The major package adds the listed air, cabin and selected diesel fuel filters to the oil-service parts.

Included in every kit

• 5 litres of Motul 8100 X-clean+ 5W-30, supplied as one 5L bottle (MOTUL-106377), approved VW 504 00 / 507 00.
• 1 × Genuine VAG oil filter 03N115562B with supplied sealing rings.
• 1 × Genuine VAG N90813202 metal sump plug with captive sealing washer.
• 1 × Genuine VAG engine air filter 5Q0129620B.
• 1 × Genuine VAG cabin/pollen filter 5Q0819669.
• 1 × Genuine VAG diesel fuel-filter element: select 5Q0127177 for a housing without a water sensor, or 5Q0127177C for a housing with a water sensor.

Vehicle fitment

Audi A3 8V 1.6 TDI EA288 diesel with engine codes CLHA, CRKB, CXXB, DBKA, DDYA, a compatible original metal sump requiring N90813202 and standard factory airbox (5Q0129620B, excluding cold-climate alternative elements). For vehicles requiring VW 507 00 engine oil. Excludes petrol/e-tron, A3 8P/8Y, different engine codes, different drain hardware and modified intakes or sumps.

Select the fitted fuel-filter housing

The two fuel elements are different and are not interchangeable. Select by the fitted housing and original element, not engine code alone. The 5Q0127177C option is for compatible water-sensor housings including 5Q0127400G/J; 5Q0127177 is for the compatible housing without a water sensor. Other housings require separate verification.

Oil and service scope

The 5L package is the quantity supplied, including reserve where applicable, not a filling instruction. Fill and check the final oil level using Audi's current vehicle-specific procedure. This is a parts package; inspections, labour, resets, brake fluid, coolant, belts, glow plugs, DSG/S tronic, Haldex and differential servicing are separate. Follow the manufacturer's schedule.

The major kit uses 5Q0127177 for a compatible housing without a water sensor, or 5Q0127177C for a compatible water-sensor housing, including the stated 5Q0127400G/J references. Check the fitted housing; the elements are not interchangeable. The minor kit has no fuel filter.

Should I use all the supplied oil?

The 5L package is the supplied quantity, including reserve where applicable, not a refill instruction. Use the current vehicle-specific filling and level-check procedure, and match the stated oil approval and viscosity.
