Choose the oil-service parts for the listed transverse-B38 X1 F48 and X2 F39 sDrive18i applications. Six sealed 1L bottles of Motul LL-12 FE 0W-30 are supplied, while the fitted MAHLE or MANN+HUMMEL housing determines the oil-filter configuration and listed drain-hardware format.
Vehicle fitment
UK/EU X1 sDrive18i, X2 sDrive18i with the transverse B38 engine and original factory service housings. Excludes E84/U11 X1, U10 X2, 25e hybrid, B37 16d and other engines.
Choose the correct service specification
Choose the oil-filter housing fitted to the car: MAHLE uses 11428570590; MANN+HUMMEL uses 11428593186. These filters are not interchangeable. MAHLE is principally the earlier F48 application; F39 uses the MANN+HUMMEL option. Confirm by VIN and the fitted housing, especially after a retrofit. The oil is BMW LL-12 FE approved Motul Eco-Clean 0W-30; this option requires the vehicle handbook to permit LL-12 FE 0W-30. Six sealed 1L bottles are supplied. The exact oil-change fill varies by engine/update; use the VIN-specific BMW procedure and electronic level, retaining surplus.

The MANN+HUMMEL option explicitly includes the new sump plug and A12x16 copper washer as a combined genuine component; the MAHLE filter set supplies its drain washer with a separate new plug. The cabin-filter reference, where included, is one complete two-element set.
This minor package is an oil-and-filter service. Spark plugs, air filter and cabin filter are separate.
Service timing follows BMW Condition Based Service and the individual jobs due. Labour, service reset, brake fluid, coolant, gearbox/differential service and wipers are separate.
