BMW X1 F48 / X2 F39 B47 Major Service Kit
Prepare a diesel major service for the listed transverse B47 X1 F48 and X2 F39 18d, 20d and 25d applications. Six litres of Motul LL-04 5W-30, BMW oil, air and cabin filters, a diesel fuel filter and matching drain parts are supplied.
Vehicle fitment
UK/EU X1 sDrive18d, X1 xDrive18d, X1 xDrive20d, X1 xDrive25d, X2 sDrive18d, X2 xDrive18d, X2 xDrive20d, X2 xDrive25d with the transverse B47 engine and original factory service housings. Excludes E84/U11 X1, U10 X2, 25e hybrid, B37 16d and other engines.
Choose the correct service specification
Choose the oil-filter housing fitted to the car: MAHLE uses 11428570590; MANN+HUMMEL uses 11428593186. These filters are not interchangeable. MAHLE is principally the earlier F48 application; F39 uses the MANN+HUMMEL option. Confirm by VIN and the fitted housing, especially after a retrofit. The oil is BMW LL-04 approved Motul X-clean EFE 5W-30; do not use an LL-12 FE substitution on 25d. Six sealed 1L bottles are supplied. The exact oil-change fill varies by engine/update; use the VIN-specific BMW procedure and electronic level, retaining surplus.

The MANN+HUMMEL option explicitly includes the new sump plug and A12x16 copper washer as a combined genuine component; the MAHLE filter set supplies its drain washer with a separate new plug. The cabin-filter reference, where included, is one complete two-element set.
The diesel major package adds the engine air filter, complete cabin filter set and diesel fuel filter. No spark or glow plugs are included.
Service timing follows BMW Condition Based Service and the individual jobs due. Labour, service reset, brake fluid, coolant, gearbox/differential service and wipers are separate.

Service-kit questions
Does the diesel major kit include a complete cabin set and fuel filter?
Yes. Reference 64316835405 is one complete two-element cabin set, and fuel filter 13328584868 is included. No spark plugs or glow plugs are supplied. Match the MAHLE or MANN+HUMMEL housing, and do not substitute LL-12 FE oil for 25d.
Should I use every litre of oil supplied?
No. The bottle quantities describe what you receive. Use the current BMW procedure and the VIN-specific oil requirement to refill and check the level; retain any surplus. The listed parts do not include labour or the other service jobs identified above.
