Prepare a major parts service for the four-cylinder Z4 G29 sDrive20i or sDrive30i. The package combines six litres of Motul LL-17 FE+ 0W-20 with BMW oil, engine-air and cabin filters, four spark plugs and the new oil-drain plug.

Oil quantity and specification
6 litres supplied in sealed retail bottles (5L + 1L). BMW publishes an oil-change quantity of 5.25 litres for this engine in the G29. The remaining oil can be retained for top-ups; fill to the vehicle's measured level and BMW service procedure, rather than pouring in the entire package. Use this oil option only where the vehicle handbook/under-bonnet specification permits BMW Longlife-17 FE+ 0W-20.
Vehicle fitment
For UK/EU BMW Z4 G29 sDrive20i / sDrive30i, 2.0-litre longitudinal B48 (B48D), with the original factory airbox, oil-filter housing and sump. Confirm the VIN, production details and current BMW part references before ordering. This kit uses four spark plugs in the major version; the M40i has a separate six-cylinder kit.
Service scope
The major package adds the engine air filter, activated-carbon cabin filter and the correct number of spark plugs to the oil-and-filter service parts. Service timing follows your BMW Condition Based Service schedule and the individual jobs due. Brake fluid, coolant, gearbox/differential fluids, wipers, labour and service reset are separate.

Service-kit questions
Can I use the M40i kit for my sDrive20i or sDrive30i?
No. These B48/B48D models use four spark plugs and their own air-filter application. The M40i is a separate six-cylinder B58 kit. Retain the factory airbox, housing and sump, and confirm LL-17 FE+ 0W-20 is permitted for the VIN.
Should I use every litre of oil supplied?
No. The bottle quantities describe what you receive. Use the current BMW procedure and the VIN-specific oil requirement to refill and check the level; retain any surplus. The listed parts do not include labour or the other service jobs identified above.
