An engine-service parts package for the 996 GT3 Mk1 / Mk2 with the original M96.76 / M96.79 engine. The major kit combines the oil-service components with the listed engine-air filtration, cabin filtration and six spark plugs. It is a parts package for the named application, not every task in Porsche’s workshop maintenance schedule.

• 10L Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 5W-40, Porsche A40-approved: choose 2 × 5L (MOTUL-109776) or 10 × 1L (MOTUL-109774) using Oil pack. Both options supply the same oil specification and total quantity.

• 1 × Genuine Porsche M20 × 1.5 magnetic oil drain plug — 94410719711.

• 1 × cabin pollen filter selected by Cabin filtration: Standard 99657221902, or Activated carbon M571 99757121902. One filter is supplied, not both.

Choose the fitted cabin filter

Select Standard for pollen filter 99657221902, or Activated carbon M571 for filter 99757121902. One cabin filter is supplied, matching the selected option. Check your original filter and M571 option code before ordering; the two options have the same kit price.

Choose your oil pack

Select 2 × 5L or 10 × 1L in Oil pack before adding the kit to your basket. Both options contain 10 litres of the same A40-approved Motul oil. The listed filters and hardware stay the same; any cabin-filter choice is separate.

Engine, build and hardware fitment

Porsche 911 996 GT3 Mk1 and Mk2 with the original M96.76 / M96.79 engine. Excludes GT3 RS, Carrera, Turbo and modified airbox arrangements. Provide your registration or full 17-character VIN so the engine, airbox and fitted hardware can be checked before dispatch.

Oil approval and supply quantity

The supplied Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 5W-40 carries Porsche A40 approval. The Oil pack choice changes bottle size and kit price, not the oil specification or 10L total. The 10 × 1L option contains ten bottles; a single-bottle photograph identifies the product.

10 litres is the quantity supplied, including reserve where applicable; it is not an engine refill instruction. Do not pour in the whole package automatically. Follow Porsche’s prescribed draining, filling, warm-up and oil-level checking procedure for the exact engine and fitted hardware.

Service scope and ordering

This is a parts-only package, not a complete workshop service or a statement that every scheduled item is due. Labour, inspections, diagnostic work, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, auxiliary belts, ignition coils and additional hardware are excluded. Only the oil-service hardware listed is supplied; dry-sump procedures can require other engine-case washers or fasteners which must be checked and ordered separately.

Provide your registration or full 17-character VIN so the engine and fitted filter / drain hardware can be checked before dispatch. Declare engine swaps, modified intakes, replacement filter housings and updated oil tanks. Questions about this kit

Is the GT3 RS major kit the same as this standard GT3 kit?

The standard GT3 major kit specifies six 99917019590 spark plugs; the RS listing specifies 99917023890. Match the original engine and use the dedicated model listing.

Do the two oil-pack options change the included filters?

No. The 2 × 5L and 10 × 1L options provide the same 10L oil specification and listed service parts. On 996 major kits, the separate Cabin filtration choice determines the one cabin filter supplied.
