An engine-service parts package for the 996 GT3 RS with the original M96.79 / M004 RS engine. The minor kit supplies the specified oil, oil filter and listed sealing / drain components for the engine-oil service.

What is included

• 10L Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 5W-40, Porsche A40-approved: choose 2 × 5L (MOTUL-109776) or 10 × 1L (MOTUL-109774) using Oil pack. Both options supply the same oil specification and total quantity.
• 1 × Genuine Porsche oil-filter element — 99610722553.
• 1 × Genuine Porsche oil-filter housing seal — 0PB115499A.
• 1 × Genuine Porsche M20 × 1.5 magnetic oil drain plug — 94410719711.
• 1 × Genuine Porsche oil-tank drain sealing ring — 90012301020.

Choose your oil pack

Select 2 × 5L or 10 × 1L in Oil pack before adding the kit to your basket. Both options contain 10 litres of the same A40-approved Motul oil. The listed filters and hardware stay the same; any cabin-filter choice is separate.

Engine, build and hardware fitment

Porsche 911 996 GT3 RS with the original M96.79 / M004 RS engine. Excludes standard GT3, Carrera and Turbo. Provide your registration or full 17-character VIN so the engine, airbox and fitted hardware can be checked before dispatch.

Oil approval and supply quantity

The supplied Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 5W-40 carries Porsche A40 approval. The Oil pack choice changes bottle size and kit price, not the oil specification or 10L total. The 10 × 1L option contains ten bottles; a single-bottle photograph identifies the product.

10 litres is the quantity supplied, including reserve where applicable; it is not an engine refill instruction. Do not pour in the whole package automatically. Follow Porsche’s prescribed draining, filling, warm-up and oil-level checking procedure for the exact engine and fitted hardware.

Service scope and ordering

This is a parts-only package, not a complete workshop service or a statement that every scheduled item is due. Labour, inspections, diagnostic work, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, auxiliary belts, ignition coils and additional hardware are excluded. Only the oil-service hardware listed is supplied; dry-sump procedures can require other engine-case washers or fasteners which must be checked and ordered separately.

Provide your registration or full 17-character VIN so the engine and fitted filter / drain hardware can be checked before dispatch. Declare engine swaps, modified intakes, replacement filter housings and updated oil tanks. Availability shown for the selected kit follows its component products; check it before booking workshop work.

Questions about this kit

Why is the RS separated from the standard 996 GT3?

The RS major package uses six 99917023890 spark plugs, rather than the standard GT3 plug reference. The engine, cabin-filter equipment and fitted service hardware must match the selected RS kit.

Do the two oil-pack options change the included filters?

No. Both supply 10L of the same Porsche A40-approved Motul oil. The listed filter and hardware references and their quantities are unchanged by bottle size.
