BMW 840i G14/G15/G16 Major Service Kit
Prepare a major service-parts package for a UK/EU B58C 840i or 840i xDrive in G14, G15 or G16 form. Seven litres of Motul LL-17 FE+ 0W-20 are supplied with BMW oil, air and cabin filters, six spark plugs and a new sump plug.
Vehicle fitment
UK/EU 840i and 840i xDrive with B58C engine, original oil-filter housing and airbox. This option uses BMW LL-17 FE+ approved Motul Eco-Clean 0W-20.

7 × 1L bottles supplied; BMW publishes a 6.5 L oil-change quantity. The major kit adds one engine air filter, one complete activated-carbon cabin filter set and six spark plugs.

Before installation
Oil quantities above are sealed retail supply quantities. Fill according to the VIN-specific BMW service procedure and electronic oil measurement; retain any surplus for top-ups. Select the oil only where the vehicle handbook permits the named BMW approval and viscosity. Follow Condition Based Service and the individual jobs due. Labour, service reset, brake fluid, coolant, gearbox/differential service and wipers are separate.

Service-kit questions
Does this use the same air filter as every G-series B58?
No. This 840i package specifies air filter 13718577170 and the complete carbon cabin-filter set 64115A1BDB6. Engine family alone does not confirm every filter application. Check the original housing, airbox and LL-17 FE+ oil requirement against the VIN.
Should I use every litre of oil supplied?
No. The bottle quantities describe what you receive. Use the current BMW procedure and the VIN-specific oil requirement to refill and check the level; retain any surplus. The listed parts do not include labour or the other service jobs identified above.
