PAGID RSL29 front endurance brake pads for BMW applications using pad shape 4931. This is the core RSL29 front fitment for standard-brake F87 M2, F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and compatible F2X M Performance cars.

RSL29 compound

RSL29 is PAGID Racing's endurance-focused yellow compound. It combines a medium friction level with very good modulation and release, long pad and disc life, low heat conductivity and a wide useful temperature range. It is particularly well suited to repeated hard braking on track where consistency and control matter more than road-car refinement.

• BMW F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 with the standard 380x30 mm iron front brake system.
• Not for the F87 M2 Competition optional 2NH 400x36 mm six-piston front system; use PAGID shape 4934 for 2NH.

Brake specifications can vary by market, build date and factory option. If your car has non-standard calipers, carbon-ceramic brakes or a retrofit brake kit, confirm the pad shape before ordering.

Road use and refinement

This is a PAGID Racing motorsport friction material. It is not sold as an ECE R90 road-approved replacement pad for this application. Expect more brake dust and the possibility of squeal or other competition-pad NVH. Check local road-use requirements before use on public roads.

Bedding-in procedure

For PAGID Racing compounds, establish a full contact pattern before heavy use: perform 10 moderate-pressure stops from approximately 150 km/h to 80 km/h, then 5 medium-to-high-pressure stops from approximately 180 km/h to 60 km/h with acceleration between stops, followed by 3–5 moderate recovery stops from approximately 150 km/h to 80 km/h. Allow the system to cool after the procedure and inspect the discs and pads before sustained track use.

Yes. Pagid RSL29 pads are widely used for track days because they offer strong fade resistance, good modulation and long pad life under repeated hard braking.

Some Pagid compounds can be used on the road, but they are mainly designed for performance and motorsport use. They may produce more noise and dust than standard road pads.

For best results, pair Pagid pads with high-temperature brake fluid such as Motul RBF660 or RBF700 and braided brake lines from HEL or Goodridge.
