GiroDisc GP10-2478.20 front street brake pads provide the GP10 compound for BMW G8X cars with the matching front caliper and iron-disc setup. The complete pad reference matters when comparing front and rear options, and the installed caliper and disc material should be confirmed before purchase.
GP10 is a semi-metallic compound developed for road driving and occasional track use. It aims to balance responsive braking with everyday refinement. For frequent or demanding circuit sessions, choose a dedicated race compound suited to the car and its braking demands.
Key Features
- Exact GiroDisc reference: GP10-2478.20.
- BMW G8X front application, with the matching caliper and installed brake configuration.
- Semi-metallic road compound, suitable for occasional track use.
- Compatible with iron brake discs only.
Vehicle Fitment and Brake Setup
| Vehicle | Axle | Model years | Required brake setup |
|---|---|---|---|
| BMW M2/M3/M4 (G8X) | Front | 2021- | without carbon ceramic |
| BMW M3 / M4 (G8X) | Front | 2021- | with carbon ceramic; iron-disc conversion application |
Brake compatibility: Use with compatible iron discs only. GiroDisc explicitly excludes carbon-ceramic discs for this reference. Verify the exact BMW G8X vehicle, fitted front caliper and pad profile before ordering, especially where a brake conversion has been carried out.
The brake setup notes identify the complete vehicle configuration. Disc dimensions, caliper spacers or mounting hardware mentioned in an application are not additional items included with these pads or shields.
