GiroDisc TS-1389-4 titanium pad shields use the front 1389 profile for the listed Porsche 991.1 Carrera/C4, 991.2 Carrera/C4/T and selected 981/982 Cayman and Boxster brake configurations. Choose against the installed front pad shape and the exact model and brake setup shown below.
The titanium shields fit between the pad backing plates and caliper pistons, reducing heat transfer into the caliper during repeated braking. GiroDisc water jet cuts the application profile and supplies four pieces for one axle. The shields complement the correctly specified pads, fluid and cooling arrangements in a prepared brake system.

The 991 conversion notes specify an S-model rear pad for full disc sweep. That remains a rear-brake requirement when selecting these front shields. Follow all listed disc and spacer conditions; pads and conversion hardware are not included.
The brake setup notes identify the complete vehicle configuration. Disc dimensions, caliper spacers or mounting hardware mentioned in an application are not additional items included with these pads or shields.
