Description
Powerflex PF5K-1006 full Road Series handling pack for BMW E46 M3 and M3 CSL. Replace worn front wishbone, rear trailing arm and rear subframe mounting bushes with a matched manufacturer-selected fast-road refurbishment package.
Complete vehicle pack contents
- PFF5-4601M3: front wishbone rear bush set.
- PFR5-3608: rear trailing arm front bush set.
- PFR5-4610M3: M3-specific rear subframe front bush set.
- PFR5-4611: rear subframe rear bush set.
Manufacturer's safety/use limitation: this PF5K-1006 pack is not suitable for track or motorsport use. Specifically, the supplied PFF5-4601M3 road front wishbone bush is not approved by Powerflex for regular circuit or competition use. For track builds, choose the higher-performance PFF5-5601M3 or offset-caster PFF5-5601GM3 range and suitable track-rated suspension mounts separately.
Compatibility
BMW E46 M3 and CSL using standard manufacturer mounting arrangements. Do not use on E46 318i, 325i, 330i or 330d non-M3 models. Check pre-existing chassis reinforcement, rear subframe carrier mounting condition and any aftermarket suspension arrangement before fitting.
What does this help fix?
Ageing bushings can lead to deteriorated steering feel, clunks, rear axle movement and imprecise toe control. Inspect the E46 rear axle carrier panel (RACP) and rear mounting areas for fatigue; bushes do not remedy cracking. A full alignment is recommended after fitting.
For more demanding setups, see E46 M3 track suspension and brake upgrades and Millway Motorsport chassis components.
FAQ
Can I use this on a Nürburgring track car? Powerflex explicitly specifies the PF5K-1006 pack as not suitable for track or motorsport use. Choose individually rated components instead.
